i'm having so much fun reading now!!! i'm reading my first pulitzer prize winner!! haha..sounds so impressive..but really..i've only read the first chapter and am hooked. the language is mind-blowing!!! i learnt a new word in the first chapter! OBSTREPEROUS! it means unruly..haha...so boys are obstreperous and girls aren't! (: the book is also funny..funny in an intellectual way..as in..if you read it slowly..you'll definitely see the humour and well..all i'll say is it tickles! (: haha..this is one book i'm definitely going slow with..savour each word and phrase..it's Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. hmm..in retrospect..in the past 6mths..i've read so voraciously..almost as if i'm reading with a vengeance. i probably won't get a chance to bulldoze through so many books in such a short time in a loooooooooooong time to come. hmph! there will be intermittent projects..and things that demand immediate attention. i'll definitely continue to read..just not as consistently. if only i can have a career in reading. haha..i'd have fun. i'm definitely considering getting a copy of Middlesex to keep!!! (: ooooh boy....i'm so gonna miss reading when sch starts..
